Policies

Consultation Policy: A consultation is required for all new clients. The purpose of the consultation is to gather information about you, your health, your hair and skin; to provide information and education about electrolysis treatment; to answer any questions you might have; and to ensure you are a candidate for electrolysis. If time permits after education/questions, we can do a small test treatment in the area you are most interested in having treated so you can see what it’s like before booking a session. Consultations are complimentary but must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel within 24 hours or no-show, a $50 charge will be required to rebook. This policy allows us to accommodate other clients who may be on our waiting list. 

 

Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to keep your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. If you do not, your card on file will be charged the full scheduled serviced fee, per company policy. If the card on file is unable to be processed for this fee, you will receive an invoice for the amount owed. A follow-up session will not be booked until this fee is paid in full. Multiple No-Shows: If repeated no-shows and late cancellations become a pattern that interferes with your progress, Bare Babe Electrolysis reserves the right to terminate treatment. This policy allows us to accommodate other clients who may be on our waiting list.

 

Late Arrivals/Early Departures: If you arrive late or need to leave early, you will be charged the full price of the scheduled time, and lose out on missed minutes. Unless we have an opening after you, we are unable to extend treatment beyond your scheduled time. We understand that things happen, but to ensure our schedule is running efficiently for clients scheduled after you, we must adhere to our scheduled appointment times. Please text or call the office at 510-210-5983 as soon as possible for any scheduling needs.

 

Credit Card on File: We require a credit card on file to secure and confirm your booking. Your card will be charged end of our scheduled session, or in the event of a late cancellation/no-show. This measure helps us maintain an organized schedule and reduces no-shows or last-minute cancellations.

Infection Control: For the safety of Bare Babe Electrolysis and other clients, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing any cold, flu, or other upper respiratory symptoms to prevent infecting others. The same applies if you are experiencing any infectious outbreaks (i.e. herpes, lice, etc.). 

 

Pets: Unfortunately Bare Babe Electrolysis cannot accommodate pets or emotional support animals. If you have a service animal, please notify us in advance to ensure we make appropriate accommodations for clients scheduled after you who may have allergies. 

 

Children: We understand childcare accommodations sometimes fall through. Children are welcome if they are at an age and/or developmental stage where they can sit in the waiting area without being disruptive to our treatment session or to the neighboring businesses in adjoining suites. We do not have a separate waiting room and treatment room, so please keep in mind that you and your child would both need to be comfortable being in a shared space.
